The name Sol Coronam is an idea born from the inspiration of nature. This can be both environmental nature (plants, animals) and human nature (psyche, personality). You can find these themes in the artwork.

The artist behind Sol Coronam, Jonique Nestaas, has received degrees at both the School of Visual Arts in New York and the Academy of Art in San Francisco. She has worn many hats over the span of her career and doesn’t limit her talents to just one thing. She is currently working on a science fiction themed graphic novel called The Quiet Key.
